Updates for Patients

Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates would like to thank Dr. Thomas Scary, for his 4 years at RPA. Dr. Scary not only has provided excellent care to his patients over these years, but he has also served in leadership roles as the Networking Director and Newsletter Editor for the practice. We are grateful his work, and he will be missed.

If you have been notified that your care has been transferred to a new provider, then no additional action is necessary.

If you currently have an appointment scheduled, it will remain active unless you are notified otherwise, or you contact scheduling to update. 

If your care has been transferred, and you are in need of a prescription refill, prior authorization, letter for work/ school, appointment or other services, please refer to your transfer letter or contact scheduling@rittenhousepa.com, who will direct your inquiry to the appropriate party. If you have an emergency, as always, call 988 or 911 first. Once transferred, Dr. Scary will not be available for additional RPA appointments, but he will be available to your new provider to collaborate care and aid in the transfer process.

We would never transfer a patient to a new provider without notifying them before their visit, and if a patient would prefer to be transferred to a different RPA provider (than a provider assigned), please do not hesitate to call scheduling at 267-358-6155 x 1 (Amy) or email scheduling@rittenhousePA.com for information on other providers with availability.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and change. We would have loved for Dr. Scary to have remained at our private practice for years to come.
